Yeah, I went to another convention outside of Maine (first one was at Boston of 2003) because I had to see what Connecticut's huge ass convention was all about.

First, it was a HUGE place. Two buildings with the event panels, workshops, game and dealer rooms going on. I got lost on where to go to see some of the cool panels Saturday morning (but manage to see two of them that I REALLY wanted to see, so yay!). And you better need to take breaks between walking because your legs and feet will be sore as fuck within the first few hours. I should know because when I got back home, my feet were swollen.

Second of all, they had a lot of awesome guests that Portcon or the comic convention at Maine didn't had like Jennifer Hale, Richard Horivitz, Ellen McLain, the boys from Marble Hornets and such. It was cool to see them at their booths to sign and take photos of their fans. I got to meet Jennifer (after failing to see her two panels on Saturday due to being lost in the con ^^; ), Troy, Tim and Joseph and got their photos and their signatures. Best awesome folks I ever got to meet.

But the best part was meeting Jordan AKA TelekineticPuppeteer for the first time after being internet pen pals for 15 years. She was 30 minutes away from the convention when she landed from California but didn't went to the Thursday or Friday's events due to traveling issues to get there...until I suggested to pick her up and go on Saturday.
Smart move I ever made and we had a good crazy time. Most awkward incident I had that I thought I lost my sister's old digital camera at the convention to the point I asked the hotel staff to search for it...until I found it back at my hotel room. I return the day after and told the staff to call off the search after I told them I found the thing.

So after missing out a few panels, a silly stupid missing item search and all, Jordan and I had a blast and got a few photos (and three gift drawings I made) when I was at the convention. Be sure to look out for them in your message center! ;)

My art style is a mix of Western/Eastern cartooning after being inspired by American and Asian animation and comics. I'm trying to improve my art with the help of very good artists and how to draw books.

I'm not doing this to be rude or anything but, considering you don't like Yaoi you really shouldn't be mean to other artist and reporting their deviation without telling them what they're doing wrong. And to be honest with you, whining about a genre you don't like makes you stand out just a bit. For example, if there is a time where you do like or/ love the genre out of the blue and being a Hypocrite and telling others not to like it because, of their age makes you stand out and overrated as an artist. I know someone who used to love Sonic x Shadow pairing and now she's being a huge drama queen hypocrite called Yaoi genre "rape" when it's really not the case she's just stuck in the clouds like everyone else who hates it for no reason or won't give the reason to show why they dislike it. "I hope you don't think I'm ranting about it to you because, I'm really not, just showing you my honest opinion about it and what you should watch out for in the future when helping out other artist".

Do you think saying that you want to beat up particular users would classify as a threat or some other bannable offence?

Well, Turk has gone and done it now. He's blocked me, and I'm off his "liked users" list. I'm surprised I'm not on his "users he strongly dislikes" list yet, though.
